After just under an hour playing I was still unsure on if I liked it or not. The game is pretty easy. It is a lot like Total War in some ways, this game would be a good stepping stone to Total War if you are unsure. Take this game then times it by 100% then you will have total war! But if this game is on sale at under £4 then go for it.. WARNING DO NOT PURCHASE!!!The game seems cool and like a lot of fun but i just can't seem to get it to work n matter what.I have spent the last 2 days looking for a solution and haven't been able to play the game because each time i try to start the first mission the game crashes with a "this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way" error message i have tried to play the game with different resolution and graphics settings DIDNT WORK.Tried with running the game as administrator with and without all the different compatibility modes DIDNT WORK.Tried uninstalling/installing different Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable versions because someone said that he got the game to work by uninstalling all the other versions he had and keeping just that one version DIDNT WORK FOR ME.(SLIGHT UPDATE)Restarted my pc and decided to have one last try at the game and decided to try the "run in 640 x 480 screen resolution" option at the compatibility tab and with that i am able to start the first mission but it is so laggy in it that the game is unplayable and looks horrendous which keeps this review as a NEGATIVE REVIEW.(UPDATE TO MY UPDATE)Tried to start the game again in 640x480 and now i get the same error as i did originallysoooooooooo...... Do not buy, peace : ). It doesn't even work. It automatically crashes after the frist mission. Every fckng time. So it's actually pretty reliable.. Got his game for free... A very beatifull and epic game with cool maps and good story. BUT... i don't recommand this game to starting strategy-gamers. It is not very easy (singleplayers, upgrading troops, unique items,..) If you're a starter, begin with the total war games. That should make you better in strategy! ;-). The game looks great and the gameplay mechanics work. However, up to this day, there's still a game breaking bug left unfixed. The game crashes when you finish the first battle. Better go for the other games from NeoCore.
